Have any professors talked about what to do in a active shooter situation?  Most of the criminal justice professors will bring it up at the beginning of the semester.  I have put up a board about how to deal with active shooter situations.  Even though I have listed as an active shooter, this could pertain to any type of workplace or school violence.  The same three principles are in play.  The board has Run, Hide, Fight listed as the three principles.  These three do not have to be in that order.  If the subject is in the same room as you, you may choose to fight first then run.  It is up to you and how comfortable you are in the situation.
